Gemsona: Fluorite

I hope i’m not too late for the party, but here’s my Gemsona: Fluorite!

These are my first tries on her final design, so apologies for messy anatomy or other weird-looking things. Her appearance will probably improve in the future!

So anyway, as you can see, Fluorite is one of the tiny Gems. She used to dig caves, holes and tunnels on different planets under the command of Yellow Diamond in order to help the creation of the kindergartens or other facilities. However, she eventually came to realize what madness she was supporting with her work, and refused to continue. Fearing severe punishment, she fled and went into hiding (preferably underground).

Fluorite is very distrusting of other gems, as she suspects everyone to be a Homeworld spy. She eventually drops that attitude when she learns of the war between the Homeworld and the Crystal Gems (of course, Homeworld got better things to do than to chase down a minor traitor in a time like this!). She stays out of the conflict though, since she just wants her peace at this point.

While she possesses remarkable physical strength, she is not suitable for fighting (she never got any proper training). Her gem eye allows her to see in the dark (or, to be more specific, Fluo’s glow always faintly illuminates her surroundings and her eye is capable of greatly enhancing her perception of even the weakest light sources).
